Greetings Eagle Family! This serves as a gentle reminder that we have fully implemented the school uniform policy. As a result, students are required to wear the following collared shirts: Sixth grade-Royal Blue, Seventh grade-Red and Eighth grade-Gray. Bottoms must be khaki or navy blue pants/capris/skirts/shorts (No cargo pants). Uniforms must follow the dress code policy. As a point of clarity, there is no dress down day for students tomorrow, September 9, 2022. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and support!

This is a friendly reminder that our cheerleader parent meeting will take place today at 6:00 PM. Additionally, starting Tuesday, August 30, 2022, all students will report to homeroom to take the MAP Growth test from NWEA. We will administer the Reading Growth assessment, Tuesday, August 30, 2022, and the Math Growth assessment, Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Each session will begin at 8:30 AM, so please ensure that you bring charged Chromebooks, are well rested and receive a good breakfast. Thanks!

Come join us as we host "Picnic with the Principal" August 2, 2022 from 4:00PM to 6:00 PM. During this time, Dr. Vance invites new and returning families to fellowship with her as well as the other members of our wonderful school community. Immediately following the picnic, the Marlboro County Sheriff Department will distribute school supplies from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!
BMSD presents a Welcome Back to School Block Party for all students on Friday, August 19, 2022. We are excited about this upcoming school year and are looking forward to a fun and engaging day. Marlboro County School District will be closed July 4th week. We will reopen Monday, July 11th.
Principal Dr. Dionne Vance will hold a Parent and Student meeting on Monday, July 11th to discuss BMSD expectations for the 2022-2023 school year and to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
GT Arts Camp will be held at BMSD June 13th through the 28th from 8-12.
There will be a Arts Camp Finale Showcase on June 28th at 6 pm.
Summer school begins on Monday, June 6th and runs through Thursday, June 30th. The hours are 8 am until 3 pm.
