Oh, nothing, just BMSD serving you Pi Day! BMSD students went all out celebrating today, a day to remember Pi (3.14) which is essential to calculating the circumference of a circle. As you can see, some students walked - 3 laps around the building and 14 jumping jacks, some did 3 push-ups and 14 jumping jacks, and all answered one question where they had to use Pi (3.14)! Afterwards, students were treated to various flavored pies!

Blenheim Middle School of Discovery’s Beta Club Inducts 29 New Members
Blenheim, SC – Blenheim Middle School of Discovery recently held its National Beta Club induction ceremony.
On March 9th, 2023, 29 students were inducted into the National Beta Club at Blenheim Middle School of Discovery. These students were selected for membership based on their academic standing and character and joined more than 500,000 members across the United States and beyond. National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth group in the United States. Its mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

Mr. Roderick Selda's ( Science teacher extraordinaire) 8th grade Science lab activity. The title is, How Big is that Crater? The students will explain the relationship between various-shaped objects, impact speed and crater size.
