Come and find your future!

We can't wait to see you there!
Pictures of the car
What is this and what does it have to do with math? This strategy was used by Ms. Cue to help students understand angle pairs - interior, alternate interior, exterior, alternate exterior, etc.
You see the car is driving on the road in between the parallel lines. The interior angles are "on the road". Everything on the opposite side of the road is exterior - the exterior angles. Alternate interior angles are "on the road" but on different sides of a large crack in the road - the transversal.
Cool, logical, and beneficial...all students made 100% on the exit ticket!
Ms. Cue is the master of making learning fun! Here the students are getting excited about solving word problems by bowling. How cool is that?
Ms. Cue's class learning about functions in real-life situations.
Studies have shown that students learn a great deal more information and skills when they apply them to real-life situations.
Greetings Eagle Family!

Hello. The following is a copy of the letter you will receive if your student may be retained for the 2022-2023 school year. It will be sent home with marked information with your student.
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of ____________________________________,
This letter is to inform you that your child has not made sufficient academic progress for the 2022-23 school year to this point and he/she may be retained based on their current academic performance. Marlboro County School District Board of Education requires that parents/guardians be notified of the possibility that their child might be retained in his/her current grade.
Promotion/retention decisions for all students will be determined by the student’s ability to perform at the current grade level based on documented assessment results, class performance, and teacher judgment as defined by the South Carolina Accountability Act (EAA) of 1998.
Students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) will be promoted to the next grade level if they satisfactorily complete the requirements unless the IEP designates otherwise.
In all cases, parents/legal guardians will be notified at least 30 days before the end of school year or course at the middle or high school level if the student may be retained or is failing a high school course. A parent conference is to be scheduled and documented.
Concerns about your child’s school performance and lack of sufficient progress have been discussed with your child and their teacher and a contract for improved student progress is being implemented to provide academic interventions. To be considered for promotion a student must be present for 170 days for a yearlong class or meet the district’s attendance policy. Our efforts to assist your child will continue in the area(s) marked below, which include the courses that your child is in danger of failing:
______ Mathematics ______ English/ Language Arts ______ Social Studies
______ Science______ Attendance
